Ganesh Himal trekking is placed in the central region to the north west of Kathmandu. The region is comprised of many ethnic groups resulting into mixed cultures and lifestyle. The trek provides ample opportunities to interact with the locals and gain an insight into the rich Nepalese traditions. The trek offers great views of more than 40 mountain peaks above 600m from the Singla pass (4045m), Khurpudanda pass (3710m), Pangsang pass (3850m), Jaisal kunda and Jyamrung. Ganesh Himal trek is a habitat of large number of species including the wild animals like the Himalayan Thar, Gaur and varieties of monkeys and musk deer.The trail climbs down to enter the sparkling pine forests and small villages then arrive at Chalishgaon, a typical Gurung village. The trail continues until the black and white lake at the foot of Ganesh Himal. The natural hot spring in between Chalishgaon and Hindung is amazing creation of nature located in the secluded area among few villages.
