Annapurna Circuit Trek of 300 km is the most travelled trail in the Annapurna Region.  The trek starts from Besisahar, trails beside the Marshyangdi River along with the enchanting vista of Manaslu and Himal Chuli Mountains. The trek also provides fascinating view of Annapurna (8,091m), Machhapuchhare (6,993m) and the ice pyramid Dhaulagiri (8,167m), the home of the legendary Buddhist guru Padmasamba from the peak near Thorung La Pass at the Tibetan border. Further ahead and down the trail, from Manang to Muktinath, a different world of The Kali Gandaki appears with Tibetan style settlements. Trekkers can enjoy the world’s deepest gorge situated amid the giant Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. The Annapurna circuit trek, a former Nepal-Tibet trade route, is a wonder in cultural and religious harmony.
